Ink Couture Tattoos Shaenfield Ranch location is home to resident tattoo artist, Mackenzie. A gifted talent, this ingénue excelled from the first time she picked up a tattoo machine. Specializing in minimalist and fine line work with a passion for black and grey and watercolor, Mackenzie is just at the beginning of a successful bright career.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
My mom was always getting tattoos while I was growing up, so I've always been fascinated with them and knew I wanted to be covered. It wasn't until I was 15 watching Ink Masters on TV when I realized that was a career option and since I've always loved expressing myself through art, I decided that I will become a tattoo artist.

Tell us about your preferred style of work.
My preferred style at the moment is black and grey pieces but i am mainly known for my fine line art.

What other styles are you known for?
I also do color pieces, watercolor, and small and big fine line pieces.

What inspires you as an artist?
I am mostly inspired by self-expression. I was told I should care about how people view me but I never did. I love helping people express who they are through the art they get put on them. Whether it’s something that represents a loved one or purely because you love the art style.

You should book with me because at the end of the day, you are paying for more than just a tattoo, but also the experience. I try to help my clients feel comfortable and heard as much as possible throughout the process.
