Bob Rules

Located at our Ink Couture Tattoos, North Central San Antonio location, Bob "rules" in the art of tattooing.  A tattoo veteran of over 23 years, Bob has tattooed all over the world.  Proficient in all tattoo styles from traditional, to color, to black and grey and Japanese, Bob also "rules" other art genres and mediums.  His paintings are on display in galleries worldwide and for purchase as well.

23 years

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?

I’ve been an artist my whole life. Tattooing was just another medium I fell in love with.

Tell us about the preferred style of your work.
I can do any style, with my own spin on it. I just prefer to stay away from color portraits.

What other styles are you known for?
I am known for my more of the "new school" style.

What inspires you as an artist?
Any challenge always inspires me to be unique with the approach.

Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist?
I'm always open to collaboration with clients to get the best piece and experience with their tattoo.

Anything else you'd like for prospective clients to know about you?
I got my degree in special effects, I am an established painter and a world traveler.
