Kasai

Based out of our San Marcos Ink Couture Tattoos location, but also available for appointments in San Antonio, Kasai comes to us from Califonia. Internationally acclaimed and a master of many styles, Kasai's specialty is black and grey realism, Asain influenced styles, and linework to name a few.

How long have you been tattooing professionally?

I've been tattooing professionally, since 2020.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?

I've loved drawing since I was a kid. When I finished high school, I realized tattooing was connected to drawing, so I pursued it.

Tell us about the preferred style of your work?

My preferred style is Asian — Japanese-inspired and Asian-themed work in black and grey.

What other styles are you known for?

Fine line, script/lettering, and anime.

What inspires you as an artist?

I'm inspired by Asian art and culture, and by my clients' stories — turning their ideas into art they carry for life.

Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist?

I take the time to design each piece for the person wearing it, keep the work clean and bold so it ages well, and I'm honest about what will work best on your skin.
