How long have you been tattooing professionally?
I’ve been tattooing in a licensed tattoo shop for 15 years, starting a tattooing career at the age of 19.
What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
It all started as a teen on the Islands from Hawaii to Guam. I was looking at Tattoo Artist Magazine, flash, and other industry magazines and was amazed by all the beautiful wok from artists around the world. It inspired me to tattoo and create beautiful artwork for my clients who clients, and they can showcase that artwork. Also, to help the community grow with good, knowledgeable tattoo artists that will only do their best to produce amazing work.
Tell us about your preferred style of work.
I sure do enjoy doing fine-line black and grey, Japanese, traditional, and Polynesian tattoos: all of which attracted me into the tattoo industry. Other styles I'm know for include neo-traditional and geometric tattoos.
What other styles are you known for?
I'm also known for color correction and tattoo coverups.
What inspires you as an artist?
What inspires me to tattoo is to take care of my family -- making sure that I can leave a legacy for them. I get inspired to tattoo because I can make my clients happy and give them something that they can find joy and happiness within times and significant meaning to their next chapter in life.
Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist?
I would say pick me as your artist because I take the time out to listen to you and still give you the art that you want with transitioning it into tattoo format. I live by this concept: “do every tattoo like it’s your last,” never short the artwork.
Anything else you'd like prospective clients to know about you?
I’d love to let new and future clients know that in this new age of tattooing, all tattoos are welcome. So, feel free to come by and experience the professionalism with a smooth taste of fine hospitality!
