How long have you been tattooing professionally?
I’ve been tattooing professionally for five years now! It’s honestly wild to think about how much I’ve grown since I first picked up a machine. Tattooing has taken me places I never expected, and I’m still just as excited to see where this career takes me next.
What inspired you to enter the art of tattooing?

I’ve always been intrigued by the art of tattooing, but COVID was really the turning point for me. Like a lot of people, I suddenly had a whole lot of time on my hands and decided to pick up some new hobbies. I bought a tattoo machine, watched what feels like hundreds of hours of YouTube videos, and spent countless hours practicing on fake skin through a whole lot of trial and error.  Eventually, I decided to take the leap and pursue an apprenticeship, and honestly, I’ve never looked back. What started as a hobby during a weird and uncertain time turned into a career that I absolutely love. I’m constantly learning, growing, and pushing myself, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.

What is your preferred style?

I’ve always been someone who doesn’t like to put myself in a box, so I love exploring different styles of tattooing. Lately, I’ve been especially excited about bold, dark black-and-grey pieces. I also absolutely love creating ornamental and floral work, especially when I can play with the flow of the body and make a piece feel really intentional to the person wearing it. Basically, if it’s creative and I get to make something cool, I’m  probably going to be into it!

What other styles are you known for?

I’m also known for my fine-line floral work. I love creating delicate pieces with lots of detail while still keeping them clean and timeless. Floral tattoos are one of those things I never really get tired of because there are so many ways to make them feel completely unique to each client.
What inspires you as an artist?
Honestly, pretty much everything! I’m inspired by the world around me, different art forms, nature, other artists, and even random little things I come across throughout the day. But my clients are probably one of my biggest sources of inspiration. I love hearing someone’s ideas, learning what makes a piece meaningful to them, and then turning that into something we create together. There’s something really special about taking an idea that exists in someone’s head and bringing it to life on their skin.

Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist?

I’d genuinely love to be a part of your tattoo journey! Whether you have a very specific vision that you want to bring to life or you want to hand me the reins and give me complete artistic freedom, I’m here for both. Just tell me what you’re comfortable with, and we’ll create something awesome together. For me, tattooing is about more than just making cool art. I want every person who sits in my chair to feel comfortable, heard, and excited about their tattoo. My goal is to build real connections with my clients and hopefully create relationships that last way beyond the appointment. My chair is always a safe space for everyone, and I’m incredibly grateful every time someone trusts me with a piece
